For friends / Draugams

This is something that I was designing one night for my friends. They moved to another apartment downtown Reykjavik and their landlord allowed them to paint the walls into any color they want. The walls in the apartment were white before they moved. Well, not anymore. This is the entrance area. The girl wanted some turquoise, the guy wanted some blue. They wanted it colorful. I put some stripes. I wanted the striped wall to be visible from the living room, The electricity distribution box and a radiator were there. So I just added two more colors. I hope that the nice old guy-the landlord is still alive after seeing the walls repainted. The living room with the kitchen were painted in a bit less drastic colors. I will show you some more pictures soon.
